Cinamon Holland

Cinamon Holland is Liksilyu from the Wet’suwet’en nation and her father is Gitxsan and is a member of the Gitanmaax band under taa baa saa anti gil blix clan. She was raised with both her grandparents out by Driftwood Canyon in Smithers, BC.  She is married and has two wonderful boys ages 8 and 15 who are her motivation and her strength.  Some of Cinamon’s fondest memories was her childhood, having the sense of safety, love and care and being able to have excitement with the simple things in life such as mother nature and playing outside without worrying about the dangers we as parents have to worry about today.  

Cinamon started working for GC&FSS September 2011 as a social worker and in the future she would like to achieve her Masters in Social Work.   Cinamon is very excited to work with the Gitxsan people and one of the reasons why she chose the social work field is to help people towards betterment and wants to make a difference for our people.
